Ultraviolet sterilization is a process that combines very high efficiency with the advantage of not producing side effects to health.

The way that biological contaminants are eliminated does not change the taste, smell or color of water, but only makes water safe for consumption.

When microorganisms are exposed to UV radiation, they lose their ability to reproduce. Their life cycle is only a few hours, which means that after they can no longer reproduce, they are no longer dangerous for health.

Sterilizers destroy bacteria and microorganisms in the water, without requiring reaction time:

• Immediately action on bacteria (without requiring contact tank)
• does not change the chemical composition of the water, no chemicals are added
• UV lamps are mercury vapor lamps with a maximum operating time of  7500 hours
• the emission spectrum of UV radiation is 254 nm

UV Sterilization systems

When bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms are exposed to UV radiation, their reproductive capacity is destroyed, which means they are no longer a danger to our health.
