This model is for small families of 1 - 3 persons with a water hardness of location of maximum 25 German degrees ( 445 ppm - 4.45 mmol/l CaCo3) . Also the locations in which they are installed are those that have a number of bathrooms and kitchens between 1 or 2 maximum.
Water softner EWS 18 - EWS 20
The models with 18 or 20 liters of cationic resin has a medium capacity for medium hardness - max 35 German degrees ( 623 ppm - 6,23 mmol/l CaCo3) and are suitable for families with 2 - 4 people and houses with several bathrooms and kitchens - max 2-4.

The Multiplex system is composed by several simplex units that are intelligently coordinated by a central controller.
The advantage is that you can create systems that will take less space in height and which are easy to handle, installed and an easy maintenance.
They work according to several programs that can be set and changed according to the user's preferences.
Maximum flow: At the same time, one or more units can be in stand-by (more if the system is larger than a duplex). The system offers the possibility of introducing a maximum flow in the controller, and when this flow is reached, one or more of the units in stand-by will start operating. By the same mechanism, when there is a decrease in the flow of consumed water, one or more units are automatically cleaned and then put on stand-by. The cycle will be reloaded when a new peak of the flow is reached.
Alternative: The systems work alternately because they are rotated by software depending on water consumption. One unit is in stand-by until another unit that supplies softened water is charged with limestone. At this moment the unit that was in stand-by is put into operation and the one filled with limestone is passed in the regeneration procedure. When its regeneration is completed, the unit is put into stand-by, as a reserve until another unit is exhausted and the regenerated one will take its place in the system.
